The 36-year-old guard hit the milestone in the third quarter, despite struggling with his shot. Warriors coach Steve Kerr praised Curry’s perseverance, saying, “He was brilliant on a night when his shot wasn’t there. That’s the mark of a great player.”

Curry, an 11-time NBA All-Star, has won two MVP awards and four NBA championships. This season, he is averaging 24.4 points, 6.2 assists, and 4.5 rebounds in 54 games.
