Moldovan government rewards athletes who achieved outstanding performances at 2024 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games

12 athletes who have performed at the Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer will be paid with cash prizes. Coaches, doctors and masseurs of the athletes will also receive remuneration. Cabinet of Ministers approved the decision today, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Anastasia Nichita and Ion Basoc, who won silver medals in women's wrestling and para judo, will receive 2.6 million lei. Denis Vieru and Adil Osmanov, bronze medal winners in judo, will receive 2 million lei each. Serghei Tarnovschi and Oleg Crețul, who ranked third in canoe and para judo will receive the same amount.
