The other games were Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu (world No. 14) - Gukesh Dommaraju (world No. 6); Alireza Firouzja (world No. 16, Grand Chess Tour 2022 winner) - Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (world No. 20); Ian Nepomniachtchi (world No. 4 ) - Anish Giri (world No. 15); and Fabiano Caruana (world No. 2, Grand Chess Tour 2023 winner) - Nodirbek Abdusattorov (world No. 5).
