Serbia reaffirms commitment to EU integration at Dubrovnik Forum

Nevena Jovanović, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, participated in the 19th Dubrovnik Forum, held in Dubrovnik under the theme "The Age of Multipolarity: Many Paths, One Future."

As part of the forum, Jovanović spoke on the panel "The European Union and the Western Balkans: Jointly Addressing Unresolved Issues," which focused on the region's European perspective, the EU enlargement process, and strengthening cooperation between the European Union and its Western Balkan partners, CE Report informs via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia's official website.

Addressing the panel, Jovanović stressed that Serbia remains firmly committed to regional cooperation and the continuation of the European integration process, emphasizing that dialogue, mutual trust, and practical forms of cooperation are essential prerequisites for the region's long-term stability and prosperity.

She particularly highlighted the importance of infrastructure connectivity, economic cooperation, and the gradual integration of the Western Balkans into the European Union.

Jovanović also stated that Serbia pursues a principled and transparent foreign policy based on protecting its national interests while remaining committed to peace, stability, and the development of good neighbourly relations.

She added that Serbia will continue to advocate for an approach based on dialogue, mutual respect, and practical cooperation, describing it as the best path toward strengthening trust, ensuring lasting stability, and achieving shared progress across the Western Balkans.
