"I held a meeting with a delegation from the Kingdom of Sweden led by Swedish Navy Commander Rear Admiral Johan Norlén. We discussed strengthening the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian Navy, the effective use of Swedish equipment, including CB90 boats, and further areas of military cooperation," he said.

According to the Ukrainian Navy commander, the sides also separately discussed the security situation in the Azov-Black Sea region and Russia's terror against civilian shipping.

"Since the first days of the full-scale war, Sweden has remained alongside Ukraine. Thank you for your support for the Ukrainian Navy," Neizhpapa concluded.

As previously reported, Dutch partners, as part of the Maritime Capabilities Coalition, transferred an Alkmaar-class minehunter to the Ukrainian Navy.
