Greece expands strategic defense ties with US
National Defense Minister of Greece Nikos Dendias had a meeting with US Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle at the defense ministry.
In a post on the social media platform X, Dendias noted following, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
"The focus was on the announcement of the partnership between Greece and the National Guard of the State of Florida, in the context of the State Partnership Program Agreement.
I asked the U.S. Ambassador to convey my thanks to the U.S. Secretary of War Mr. Pete Hegseth, also underlining her valuable contribution towards reaching this agreement.
In addition, we discussed further deepening the Greek-US strategic defence relations."
