Israeli company announces contract with Greek Armed Forces
Israeli company Elbit Systems Ltd announced it was awarded a contract worth nearly 650 million euros to provide the Greek Armed Forces with their rocket artillery systems, Precise & Universal Launching System (PULS).
According to a statement by Elbit, the contract will be implemented over a four-year period and include another decade of support, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
Elbit Systems will supply PLUS rocket launchers and a comprehensive ammunition package that includes training missiles, operational precision-guided missiles for various ranges, and loitering munitions.
The launchers are fully adaptable to existing platforms, it added.
Following Greek government policy, Elbit Systems will cooperate with local Greek businesses to produce the system, including the transfer of technology and exchange of tech know-how, it underlined.
The company has a long-term and successful partnership with the National Defense Ministry of Greece, President and CEO Bezhalel Machlis said, and Greece joins other NATO countries that have chosen the PULS system.
