Albania's PM condemns Iranian regime’s missile attack on Türkiye
Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama condemned the ballistic missile attack carried out by the Iranian regime against Türkiye, affirming that “Albania stands resolutely alongside Türkiye and all allies in safeguarding the security and unity of our Alliance.”
In a statement on social media, Rama emphasized that Türkiye is a friendly country, a strategic partner of Albania, and a valued NATO ally, CE Report quotes ATA.
“Albania strongly condemns the ballistic missile attack by the Iranian regime against Türkiye. The fact that this is the second such attack in recent days is deeply concerning and further underscores the aggressive and destabilizing nature of these actions,” Prime Minister Rama stated.
Rama stressed that the Iranian regime’s ongoing attempts to foment tension and destabilize the region through repeated attacks on its neighbors pose a significant and serious threat.
According to him, such actions “risk further escalating the situation and constitute a serious threat to regional and international security.”
The Prime Minister also commended NATO for its swift and decisive action in safeguarding the Alliance’s territorial integrity, airspace, and the security of its citizens.
