The chairman of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, reiterated from the podium of the Assembly of Albania’s firm support for the coordinated operation between the United States and Israel against Iran.

The Albanian government has unequivocally expressed its support for the intervention of the U.S. and Israel in a preemptive strike against Iran,” stated Balla, CE Report quotes ATA.

“Prime Minister Edi Rama has conveyed Albania’s full solidarity with the countries in the Persian Gulf, which have become targets of the regime currently in the process of collapse in Iran,” Balla further stated.

He also emphasized that Prime Minister Edi Rama held discussions with the President of the United Arab Emirates.

“Prime Minister Rama has expressed Albania’s solidarity with the brotherly peoples of Qatar, the Emirates, and Bahrain. There have also been attacks in Cyprus,” Balla remarked, while also indicating his support for the opposition’s proposal for the Assembly to adopt a unified position.

Furthermore, referring to him as “the last Ayatollah in Europe,” Balla condemned the actions of Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha and his supporters during the protest on February 28.

Balla criticized Democratic Party lawmakers, stating that only Sali Berisha had been inside the building, while others never aspired to enter. He accused Berisha of aligning with the former dictator’s family and referred to him as their “Ayatollah.”

Balla also condemned the notion of political parties leading violent protests, asserting that such actions have no place in the world.
