Former President and Prime Minister of Montenegro Milo Đukanović, who is mentioned in files published by the US Department of Justice in the Epstein case, denied that he had known the late American financier and sex offender.

In an online post, X also stated that he had never had any direct or indirect communication with Epstein, CE Report quotes HINA.

“In response to the frequent interest of media representatives regarding the publication of the late Jeffrey Epstein’s communications, I inform you that I did not know Epstein, nor did I ever have direct or indirect communication with him. Therefore, understandably, I cannot testify to the credibility of Epstein’s published conversations, nor to his possible visits to Montenegro.”

In the publication, he also states that he regrets that he cannot meet the expectations of certain media workers and answer the question of how Epstein came to the conclusion that ‘Mr. Đukanović is a great character’.

“I recommend that, if they meet him somewhere before me, they must check it out and inform the public about his position,” Đukanović wrote on X.
