Hundreds of citizens from all Albanian space gathered at the “Skanderbeg” square, in Skopje, North Macedonia, for a protest rally demanding justice for the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army who are being held in The Hague.

While waving red and black flags and singing patriotic songs they demand justice for the four former KLA leaders, hoping that they will be released as soon as possible, CE Report quotes ATA.

According to them, the four are being tried in The Hague unfairly, and today they are protesting to demand justice.

A citizen from Zajazi, Vedat Ashkmedi, told KosovaPress that those who brought freedom are being held unfairly in The Hague. He said he wanted the voice of the people to be heard.

Vezir Ademi from Gostivar said that the process in The Hague is unfair.

“We have come to protest because it is worth it for the leaders of the KLA; I think we will succeed. That is an unfair process, we hope so,” said Ademi.

Meanwhile, Bardhi from Lipjan added that this is the fifth protest rally he is taking part.

According to him, the process in The Hague is at the initiative of Serbia, but he hopes that they will be released.

Massive protests have also been held in The Hague, Strasbourg, Tirana and Prishtina and are finally being concluded in the city of Skopje.

As reported by CE Report, Wizz Air launched Skopje-Prague flight.
