North Macedonia pushes European integration agenda in Brussels meeting
North Macedonia's European prospects, common security challenges and enlargement of cooperation in the fields of security and defense were in the focus of a meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski with European Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos in Brussels, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.
Interlocutors reaffirmed the country's strong commitment to the Euro-integration path, continuity of reforms processes and adoption of laws that represent an integral part of the accession process, CE Report quotes MIA.
Commissioner Kos expressed her support to the country's European path and welcomed the continuity in reforms and the Government's focus after the local elections.
This evening, Minister Mucunski is attending an informal dinner for the foreign ministers of six EU candidates and aspirant countries from the Western Balkans, hosted by EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas.
On Thursday, FM Mucunski, Minister of Culture and Tourism Zoran Ljutkov and Skopje Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski are set to meet with European Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport, Glenn Micallef.
