Serbian President meets Steven Seagal in Belgrade

Following his meeting two days ago with the famous Hollywood actor, director, and martial arts master Jackie Chan in his role as ambassador for the EXPO 2027, which will be held in Belgrade, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić received another martial arts master—Steven Seagal—at the Presidential Palace, reported Serbian public broadcaster RTS.

Hollywood actor Steven Seagal and his son Kunzang are in Belgrade to mark the start of filming the action thriller “Order of the Dragon,” in which Seagal plays one of the main roles, CE Report quotes BTA.

“I am grateful to Mr. Seagal for his expressed love for Serbia and his willingness to use his authority and popularity to promote our country worldwide. His statement that he considers Serbia his second homeland is a great honor for us and a responsibility to work together to strengthen cultural and humanitarian projects. Serbia will always be open to artists and friends from around the world,” Vučić wrote on his Instagram profile after the meeting.

In 2016, Steven Seagal received Serbian citizenship and declared that he would do everything possible to promote Serbia, which he considers his new homeland, in the best possible way.
