According to Türkiye’s Ministry of National Defense, the MoU formalizes growing defense ties between the two NATO allies and brings them closer to a full agreement on Typhoon procurement.
Both Defense Ministers—Yasar Guler of Türkiye and John Healey of the UK—welcomed the move as a major step toward enhancing Türkiye’s air capabilities and deepening bilateral defense cooperation.
