PAS Reveals Electoral List Leaders

Politics

Parliament Speaker and PAS President Igor Grosu has revealed the top names on the Action and Solidarity Party’s (PAS) electoral list ahead of upcoming elections. The list will be headed by Grosu himself, followed by Prime Minister Dorin Recean, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Grosu confirmed the inclusion of well-known figures from politics, science, and culture. Among them are Viorel Bostan, rector of the Technical University; Emil Ceban, rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy; maestros Nicolae Botgros and Constantin Cheianu; as well as former ministers Nicu Popescu and Marcel Spatari.

“These personalities joined us voluntarily, without being required to become party members. We value their decision and contribution,” said Grosu in an exclusive interview with MOLDPRES.

Regarding cooperation with pro-European extra-parliamentary parties, Grosu stated that PAS remains open to dialogue, despite some parties choosing to run independently.

“This was a tough internal decision, but the stakes are high — Moldova’s future lies in choosing between the EU path or returning to the past,” he added.

More details will be available in Grosu’s full interview with MOLDPRES, set to be published on July 18.
