Digital Governance Minister Dimitris Papastergiou highlighted tech-driven progress: over 1.48 million personalized tickets issued since February 2024, and stadium surveillance upgraded from 966 to 2,597 high-definition cameras.
Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis credited the success to electronic ID, the Standing Committee on Preventing Violence, and strategic police operations.
