Held under the auspices of President Maia Sandu at the State Residence, the summit will gather top Moldovan officials, including Sandu, Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, and Prime Minister Dorin Recean. Representing the EU will be European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

“This summit places Moldova among the EU’s key partners,” Voda stated, adding that Moldova’s EU path is now “clear, irreversible and politically embraced at the highest level.”

The agenda includes Moldova’s EU accession process, implementation of the €1.9 billion Growth Plan, and cooperation in infrastructure, energy, education, and digital development.

The summit will begin at 17:00 with bilateral talks and conclude with a joint press conference at 19:00.
