US, Italy discuss efforts to restore stability in Ukraine

Donald Trump's Ukraine envoy Keith Kellogg met Italian Ambassador to Washington Mariangela Zappia, CE Report quotes ANSA.

He said he was happy to have conferred with her on efforts to restore stability and peace in Ukraine and the region.

"Very pleased to meet with Italian Ambassador Mariangela Zappia to discuss cooperation in the effort to restore stability and peace in Ukraine and the region," said the retired general.

"Italy is a valuable transatlantic partner".
