Zelensky, Carney inspect drones under Canada-Ukraine deal
In Alberta, Volodymyr Zelensky and Mark Carney observed the operation of drones that will be deployed under the Drone Deal agreement with Canada.
The President shared this on his Facebook page, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.
"The first Drone Deal with a country on the American continent will be with Canada. In Alberta, together with Prime Minister Mark Carney, we observed the drones that will be among the first to be deployed under this agreement. Canada is ready to place large orders, and 30% of the production will be transferred to Ukraine,” Volodymyr Zelensky wrote.
According to him, the top priority right now is to find and scale up solutions to protect Ukraine from “suicide” missiles.
“We are working on this and will share our findings and solutions with our partners,” the President added.
As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the first FREYJA anti-ballistic system should be ready by the end of this year.
