Saudi Arabia postpones Soundstorm 2026

Saudi Arabia’s Soundstorm festival announced that it has postponed its 2026 edition, which had been scheduled to take place in Riyadh on December 3-4, becoming the latest event affected by the war in the Middle East, AFP reported, CE Report quotes AGERPRES.

“We know we told you we’d see you at Soundstorm this year, so this isn’t the news we wanted to share. Regrettably, the 2026 edition of Soundstorm will be postponed,” organizers said in an email sent to attendees.

The decision comes a month after the cancellation of a Christina Aguilera concert in the United Arab Emirates and an Abu Dhabi festival where Shakira had been scheduled to perform.

Bruno Mars, DJ Khaled and Cardi B are among the major international artists who have performed at Soundstorm in recent years.

Saudi Arabia, which leads a military coalition supporting Yemen’s government in its conflict with the Houthi rebels, has faced repeated attacks on its territory since mid-September by the Iran-aligned group.
