Taylor Swift supported Albania's Bebe Rexha during tough time

Albanian singer Bebe Rexha has recalled a special moment she shared with Taylor Swift.

Rexha recently revealed during the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards ceremony how Swift reached out to support her during a difficult period surrounding the 2019 Grammy Awards, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Rexha praised Swift during a red-carpet interview with E! News, where she was asked what the 14-time Grammy winner’s years of supporting and promoting women in the music industry have meant to her as an independent artist.

“No one else really reached out to me,” she said. “Some people did, but for her, at such a high level, to make me feel like I belonged in that world was really, really beautiful,” the 36-year-old said.

The 2019 Grammys were an important night for Rexha, who was nominated for Best New Artist and Best Country Duo/Group Performance. However, she expressed her frustration over difficulties finding a dress for the event in an Instagram post that was later deleted.

In the post, she explained that several designers she had hoped would dress her for the big night had refused because of her size.
