Dua Lipa attends wedding in Kosovo

Albanian pop star Dua Lipa is spending these days in Kosovo, where she attended a wedding in Peja.

The well-known Peja-born singer Ramadan Krasniqi, known as Dani, was also part of the celebration, while Dua joined the guests and enjoyed the festive wedding atmosphere.

Dani had nothing but praise for the world-famous Albanian singer, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

“It is a great blessing that our nation has our own Dua Lipa. Long live, star, and may your successes never stop,” Dani wrote alongside a photo of himself with Dua Lipa.

Lipa, who was born in London to Kosovar-Albanian parents from Kosovo, has maintained a close connection with the country and has frequently spoken about her Albanian heritage. She has also visited Kosovo on several occasions and has used her international platform to highlight the country and its culture.

In 2022, Lipa was awarded Albanian citizenship for her contribution to spreading international awareness of Albanians through her music and global success. She has also been involved in cultural initiatives in Kosovo, including the Sunny Hill Festival, which she co-founded with her father, Dukagjin Lipa.
