Anne Hathaway’s baby bump has sparked speculation online.

The actress was accused of faking her pregnancy following her appearance on the red carpet for the film The End of Oak Street, CE Report quotes ANSA.

She wore a sculptural cropped top by Atelier Prabal Gurung in sky-blue silk with a crimson-red lining and train, paired with low-rise jeans to show off her baby bump. However, some users claimed that her belly appeared to be prosthetic.

In reality, the pregnancy is genuine. It is the actress’s third pregnancy with her husband, Adam Shulman, and was announced in a video on Instagram last June.

Hathaway responded with humor and put the speculation to rest with a behind-the-scenes clip from the premiere of her film.

“Fake hair, real bump,” she wrote, referring to the wig or hair extensions used by hairstylists as part of her look.
