
Bulgaria Eases Renewable Energy Rules
Bulgaria's Parliament has passed final amendments to the Energy from Renewable Sources Act aimed at simplifying and accelerating the development of renewable energy. Grid operators are barred from imposing unfair fees on consumers generating and using their own electricity. Municipalities must establish service centers to guide citizens on renewable projects.
