Russia bans jet fuel exports
The Russian government has announced a temporary ban on jet fuel exports until November 30.
In a written statement, the government outlined its decision regarding the export of aviation fuel, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency.
The statement noted that jet fuel exports will be prohibited for five months, until November 30, and said that "the purpose of the decision is to ensure a stable situation in the domestic fuel market."
Supplies made under intergovernmental agreements will be exempt from the ban.
Russia has also banned gasoline exports since April 1. To maintain stability in the domestic market, the government periodically imposes export restrictions on various types of fuel.
