The film is directed by sisters Marina Grozdanova and Biliana Grozdanova, who live and work in New York, CE Report quotes BTA.

The consulate added that the film is already showing on big screens in a number of US cities, including in the northeastern states.

Two screenings are scheduled in Boston and one in Philadelphia, and a New York premiere is planned for January.

The production has also been shown at international festivals, including the Mill Valley Film Festival in the United States, the Sofia International Film Festival in Bulgaria, the Calgary International Film Festival in Canada, the Montana Film Festival in the United States and the Dallas International Film Festival in the United States.

As reported by CE Report, the story follows an immigrant widower named Igor and his son, who travel to California with an American horse breeder. The story is set in the late 19th century.
