Zootropolis 2 continues its triumphant run at the box office.

In Italy, it has surpassed 12 million euros in just three weeks of release (€12,738,577). The talking-animal gang fighting stereotypes collected €1,578,945 over the weekend, according to Cinetel data, CE Report quotes ANSA.

Holding steady in second place is Oi Vita Mia, the new comedy starring Pio and Amedeo, which grossed another €1,138,691, bringing its total to €7,103,609 after three weeks. These figures confirm it as the highest-grossing Italian film of the season, with 946,148 admissions.

Remaining solidly in third position is Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, the second chapter of Universal’s horror franchise based on the video game and directed by Emma Tammi. In its second weekend in theaters, it earned €523,276, reaching a total of €2,531,861.

Fourth place goes to Brunello – The Gentle Visionary, the documentary by Giuseppe Tornatore, featuring music by Nicola Piovani, about Brunello Cucinelli. In six days on screens, it has grossed €971,262 (€471,393 over the weekend).

Stable in fifth position, in its second week of release, is Attitudini: None, the documentary by Sophie Chiarello that traces the career of Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo through memories, humor, and behind-the-scenes footage. It earned €436,151 over the weekend, for a total of €1,739,768.

Entering at sixth place is Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution, the anime feature film bridging to the third season arriving in January 2026, with €294,685 and €811,009 total in seven days.

Dropping three spots to seventh is Home Alone, one of the most beloved Christmas films, re-released in theaters (until December 10) for its 35th anniversary. It earned €224,115 on Thursday, bringing the total to €1,634,811.

Eighth place goes to Private Life (Vie Privée), the thriller starring Jodie Foster, acting in French for the first time alongside Daniel Auteuil, previously screened at Cannes and later at the Rome Film Festival, with €194,689 in four days.

A new entry also appears in ninth place with Lupin the IIIrd – The Movie – The Immortal Lineage, grossing €122,952, followed by Now You See Me – Now You Don’t, the third film about the Four Horsemen directed by Ruben Fleischer, which ranks tenth with €89,022, totaling €3,705,945 after five weeks.

As reported by CE Report, overall, the Italian box office from December 10 to 14 totaled €6,119,657, down 43% from the previous weekend (€10,667,464) and 2.83% lower than the same weekend last year (€6,301,153).
