Olivia Dean dominates BRIT Awards with four wins
Olivia Dean dominated this year’s BRIT Awards ceremony, winning four awards, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year.
While accepting the Best Album award, the singer said:
“This album speaks about love and the need to love one another in a world that currently seems to be without love.”
The 46th ceremony took place at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
Legendary Ozzy Osbourne was honored posthumously with the Outstanding Contribution Award, while Mark Ronson received the Special Recognition Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music.
Among the special honors of the night, Noel Gallagher stood out as Songwriter of the Year and PinkPantheress as Producer of the Year.
Performing their hits on the BRIT Awards stage were Dean, Ronson, Wolf Alice, Rosalía, HUNTR/X (EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI), Alex Warren, Sombr, and RAYE.
A special moment was Harry Styles’ appearance, where he presented a preview of his upcoming album titled “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally,” expected to be released on March 6.
The night closed with Robbie Williams performing “No More Tears” in tribute to Osbourne, who died at the age of 76 in July, joining forces with Adam Wakeman, Robert Trujillo, Tommy Clufetos, and Zakk Wylde according to People.
