Despite the company having chosen Netflix, Paramount is not giving up and has launched a public cash offer of $30 per share to acquire Warner Bros.

The offer is worth a total of 108 billion dollars — says Paramount — which is 18 billion dollars more in cash than Netflix’s offer, and it covers the entire Warner Bros.

“It’s good for Hollywood,” while Netflix’s offer is “anticompetitive.” The merger between Netflix and Warner Bros “ends the film industry as we know it,” said Paramount CEO David Ellison in an interview with CNBC, CE Report quotes ANSA.
