Emotional exhibition at Ukraine’s embassy in Moldova
On December 5, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Moldova hosted an emotional exhibition titled “Children Against War”, highlighting the strength and vulnerability of children from the frontline areas of the Donetsk region.
The works on display were created by Ukrainian children who grew up under the shadow of bombings but who continue to believe in a peaceful future, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.
The exhibition arrived in Chișinău thanks to Lyudmila Onofriese, founder of the International Institute of Women’s Folk Diplomacy of Ukraine, now based in Belgium, who came accompanied by a team of entrepreneurs from the Subcarpathian region.
“Each drawing represents a personal testimony — pain, fear, but also hope — transferred onto paper by children who experience the war directly,” the Embassy of Ukraine noted.
Ukraine’s ambassador to Chișinău, Paun Rohovei, thanked the organizers for the constant support offered to Ukraine and to children affected by Russian aggression. He emphasized the dedication of the team that made the project possible and highlighted the role of cultural initiatives in sustaining international solidarity.
The entrepreneurs who brought the exhibition are also taking part these days in the Chișinău Christmas Fair, organized by the International Women’s Club of Moldova (IWCM), where they are showcasing artisanal products from Kosovo — cheeses, jewelry, sweets, and other handmade creations.
