Scarlett Johansson to star in new “The Exorcist” film
Scarlett Johansson will star in the new film of the legendary franchise “The Exorcist,” produced by Universal and Blumhouse–Atomic Monster.
The project, described as a “radically new version” of the classic work, is being led by Mike Flanagan, who will write, direct, and produce the film, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
It is noted that the original 1973 film by William Friedkin focuses on a mother who turns to two Catholic priests to perform an exorcism on her 12-year-old daughter, who has been possessed by demons.
