According to organizers, the exhibition is the result of several years of research and focuses on the creative contribution of women architects to Macedonian architecture and their lasting legacy, CE Report quotes MIA.

The research for "Women in Macedonian Architecture: Rebuilding Skopje" was funded in 2021 by the Embassy of Switzerland in North Macedonia. It has previously been on display at the Museum of Macedonia and at the Macedonian Cultural Center in New York.
