Polish urban planner Adolf Ciborowski honored in Skopje
A memorial plaque honoring prominent Polish urban planner Adolf Ciborowski was unveiled in Skopje's Old Bazaar, near the Izet Curi Institute in North Macedonia.
The plaque is being installed as a sign of gratitude for his outstanding contribution to the reconstruction of Skopje following the devastating 1963 earthquake, CE Report quotes MIA.
It also recognizes his dedication to preserving the city's historical heritage, including the Old Bazaar.
The ceremony featured addresses by Skopje Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski, Chair Municipality Mayor Izet Mexhiti, and Julia Ciborowski, the granddaughter of Adolf Ciborowski.
