Hollywood star to lead Pluribus Multimedia Fest in Italy
Stanley Isaacs, an American producer and director with a long career in Hollywood, is the president of the fourth edition of the Pluribus Multimedia Fest, the international festival dedicated to immersive multi-screen short films, conceived and directed by artist Annalaura di Luggo, held at the JUS Museum | Palazzo Calabritto.
After the masterclass on November 25 about American cinema (6:00 p.m.), the awards ceremony and the screening of the winning works are scheduled for November 27 on four synchronized screens inside the large mirrored cube Pluribus, designed by Annalaura di Luggo, CE Report quotes ANSA.
The audience will thus be transformed from simple spectators into an integral part of the scene.
The festival, focused on experimentation and on the interaction between art, cinema, and technology, invites creatives, directors, and multimedia artists to explore new narrative modes capable of immersing viewers in audiovisual storytelling.
“The Pluribus Multimedia Fest is not merely a competition, but a true crossroads of artistic and cultural experimentation,” says Di Luggo. “We want to give new generations the chance to dare and experiment without boundaries, transforming cinema, animation, music, and digital languages into tools of exploration and shared vision.”
In collaboration with Asian partner Sfilmaker, the festival gathers short films from around the world: Egypt, Switzerland, Iran, USA, Ukraine, Turkey, and Italy, with various works by Francesco Frisari, Luca Turco, Giulia Russo, Tullio Imperatore, Nenzi Fiore, Matteo D’Andrea and Carlotta Nasti, Arianna Martini, and Giuseppe Ciulla.
The international jury, chaired by Annalaura di Luggo (artistic director) and Stanley Isaacs, is composed of former Paramount Canada vice-president Greg Ferris, American producer and distributor Jeff Franklin, art director Marcello Palminteri, Olindo Preziosi, and Marianna Carroccio.
The main theme of this edition is environmental sustainability, with the adoption of green protocols in every phase of the organization.
