From June 6 to 21, Sofia’s abandoned Stochna Gara railway station will be transformed into a temporary cultural centre as part of the "New Life for Stochna Gara" project, announced by Gradoscope. The initiative aims to explore ways to repurpose the station and surrounding area into a vibrant community space, CE Report quotes BTA

The event will feature exhibitions, installations, and discussions on cultural heritage and sustainable urban development. Gradoscope has been researching the area since 2021, collaborating with residents and stakeholders to create a shared vision for a modern, accessible urban space.

"We will turn the old waiting room into a meeting point for citizens, architects, and active organizations to discuss the future of the area and urban renewal initiatives," said Adriana Mihaylova, co-founder of Gradoscope.
