Royal Mint honors Spice Girls with music legends coin series
The Royal Mint of the United Kingdom is honoring the legendary group Spice Girls by releasing a new series of coins in the Music Legends collection.
This marks 30 years since the release of their first album, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
“It is a great honor for us to be recognized by the Royal Mint and to follow in the footsteps of some real music icons,” the group said in a statement.
“2026 is a special year for us, as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of our first song and album. We could never have imagined being recognized in this way — the first female group to have its own coin… what a moment for female empowerment,” the band members added.
