Bosnia hosts “Children’s Imagination Can Do Anything” festival
The winner of the “Children’s Imagination Can Do Anything” festival held in Bosnia and Herzegovina was Nejla Bečić, an eighth-grade student from the Fifth Primary School, who won the festival’s Grand Prix with her performance of the song “Write to Me.”
The first prize was awarded to Ivka Milišić, a student of the Tenth Primary School, for the song “Only Love.”
Second prize was shared by Amina Kombić, a student of the Eighth Primary School, and Ana Jurković, a student of the Tenth Primary School, CE Report informs via the Vlada Brčko distrikta BiH's official website.
Third prize was shared by Ana Mišović from the First Primary School, Samed Ali Biradli from the Third Primary School, and Nejla Hanušić from the Fourth Primary School.
Special awards for interpretation were given to Sofija Perišić from the First Primary School, Ajna Hasikić from the Seventh Primary School, and Ajlin Memišević from the Fourth Primary School.
The Children’s Jury Award went to Amra Nidžarević, a student of the Second Primary School.
The event was officially opened by the mayor of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Siniša Milić, who emphasized in his address that the festival is the largest annual event dedicated to children, highlighting the importance of supporting the development of creativity, music, and artistic expression among the youngest.
During the evening at the sports hall of the Brčko Gymnasium, the audience enjoyed 19 competition performances as well as three non-competitive showcase performances.
