Bulgaria holds talks with Rheinmetall
Prime Minister Rumen Radev will meet representatives of the management of Rheinmetall at the Council of Ministers, the government's press service said on Thursday.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Investments and Industry Alexander Pulev will also take part in the meeting, CE Report quotes BTA.
Earlier in July, Defence Minister Dimitar Stoyanov said the government had not abandoned plans for an investment in a gunpowder plant and that negotiations between the Economy Ministry and Rheinmetall were forthcoming.
Pulev had previously said there was neither a contract nor a framework agreement with the German company, only memoranda. He added that the priority investment was not a genuine project but rather a marketing initiative and lacked financing.
