Millie Bobby Brown opens up about anxiety after stalking incident in Japan
Millie Bobby Brown has revealed that a visit to Buddhist monks in Kyoto helped her overcome a three-month period of severe anxiety following a frightening stalking incident during a trip to Japan.
Appearing on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, the Stranger Things star said she struggled with intense anxiety after she and her security team were followed by unknown individuals for 20 minutes.
However, she said a visit to monks in Kyoto proved life-changing, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
"I went to Japan, sat with these monks, and it was the most incredible experience of my life," Brown said.
"I get emotional just thinking about it, but it pulled me out of that cycle. I really needed it."
Millie Bonnie Bongiovi (born 19 February 2004), known professionally as Millie Bobby Brown, is a British actress and film producer.
