UPS to cut 30,000 more jobs amid Amazon split
UPS plans to cut an additional 30,000 jobs this year as part of the end of its partnership with Amazon and a broader restructuring plan, CE Report quotes ANSA.
CNBC reports that the reduction follows the elimination of 48,000 jobs in 2024.
According to its 2024 annual report, UPS had about 490,000 employees with nearly 78,000 working in management. The firm has a unionised workforce.
