January-August revenues jump, heralding a fiscal turnaround

Tax revenues increased by 4.8% or by 1.989 billion euros compared to the target, for the period from January to August, according to the State budget execution data presented by the Ministry of National Economy and Finance. For the same period, the primary surplus on a modified cash basis amounted to 7.571 billion euros, compared to a target of 3.316 billion euros, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
