Sarajevo welcomes acoustic guitar legend Tommy Emmanuel
One of the world's greatest living acoustic guitar virtuosos, Tommy Emmanuel, will perform in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on November 6, with young musician Frano Živković, also known as Frano Livingston, widely described as a child prodigy, opening the evening.
Tommy Emmanuel, a world-renowned guitarist and master of the fingerstyle technique, will perform at the Bosnian Cultural Center (BKC) in Sarajevo, where audiences will have the opportunity to experience the virtuosity of an artist who can create the sound of an entire band with just one guitar.
Emmanuel also announced the concert on his official website, CE Report quotes FENA.
"I can't wait to come to Sarajevo," he said.
His distinctive style combines melody, bass and rhythm into a unique musical experience, while his technical precision and incredible stage energy have made him one of the world's most recognizable acoustic guitarists. His talent received special recognition from legendary guitarist Chet Atkins, who awarded him the prestigious CGP (Certified Guitar Player) title, an honor reserved for only a handful of guitarists.
Throughout his extensive career, Emmanuel has collaborated with numerous music legends, including Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder, Mark Knopfler and George Harrison. His music transcends genres, ranging from country and jazz to rock and pop, while each performance brings together exceptional technique, emotion and spontaneity.
However, before Emmanuel takes the stage, audiences will be treated to another extraordinary musical talent.
Frano Živković, also known as Frano Livingston, a young musical prodigy from the Croatian city of Rijeka, has been impressing audiences with his virtuosity for years. He began playing guitar as a child, and his talent attracted attention from the music industry at a very early age.
During his career so far, he has collaborated with prominent figures on the international music scene, including Norah Jones and Zucchero. His musical journey is also set to enter an exciting new chapter, as he will share the stage with Hollywood star Keanu Reeves.
His performance in Sarajevo will give audiences an opportunity to experience firsthand the exceptional talent of a young guitarist whose career has extended beyond his homeland since his earliest years.
The combination of Frano Živković and Tommy Emmanuel promises a special musical evening for lovers of acoustic guitar, virtuoso performances and music that transcends genres.
