Erdogan Extends Easter Greetings to Christians

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday extended Easter wishes to Christians celebrating the holiday, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

“I extend my sincere congratulations to our Christian citizens, who belong to various churches and denominations, on the occasion of Easter,” Erdogan said in a statement.

He emphasized Turkey’s commitment to religious freedom and cultural diversity, saying that Anatolia has long been a land of peace where all citizens can freely practice their beliefs.

Erdogan also expressed hope that the spirit of unity, peace, and love symbolized by Easter would continue to inspire humanity.
