Mayor warns tourists to avoid overcharging
The Mayor of Lezhë, Pjerin Ndreu, has announced that more than 20 public beach areas are available along the Shëngjin coastline in Albania, where visitors can enjoy the beach free of charge.
According to Ndreu, these public beaches stretch from Rana e Hedhun, through central Shëngjin, and all the way to Kune, giving holidaymakers the opportunity to enjoy the seaside without paying for beach space, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
He urged visitors to choose either public beaches or private beaches with clearly displayed price lists to avoid being overcharged by irresponsible operators.
"There are more than 20 public beach areas, from Rana e Hedhun through the center of Shëngjin to Kune, where you can enjoy the beach for 0 lek. Please use the public areas where there is no charge, or beaches with posted prices, so you do not fall victim to abuse. You can find the free beach locations in the reference photos below," Ndreu wrote.
