Chișinău Airport to launch new flights to stuttgart
A new flight will be launched from Chișinău “Eugen Doga” International Airport to Stuttgart, Germany. The service will operate starting March 31, 2026, three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.
The airport administrator, Sergiu Spoială, noted that Germany remains one of the most important markets for passengers, and adding a direct route to Stuttgart responds to the growing demand for access to an important economic and cultural center of Germany.
“We reaffirm the airport’s commitment to supporting the development of air connections that bring people, business opportunities, and diverse travel experiences closer in an accessible and comfortable way,” said Sergiu Spoială.
Chișinău “Eugen Doga” International Airport returned to state management in spring 2023. Authorities previously announced plans to modernize airport infrastructure and attract investments to increase capacity and service quality under a state-managed, transparent system focused on public interest.
Currently, the airport ranks among the top-performing airports in Europe in the 1–10 million passengers per year category. Growth is supported by the expansion of routes and airlines, which increased from 20 in 2022 to 33 in 2024.
