Green Coast Reshapes Albanian Riviera

Green Coast, one of the projects with the greatest impact in the field of coastal tourism, is now recognized as a strong contributor to the economic and tourist development of Albania, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Through an investment of 1 billion euros, Green Coast has introduced for the first time the model of sustainable tourism, not only through modern infrastructure and construction, but also through the commitment to develop and promote quality tourism that complies with the highest international standards.

With the responsibility to apply these standards to one of the most beautiful areas of the Albanian Riviera, Green Coast has followed the sustainable tourism model, presenting an architecture that does not aggressively impose itself on nature.

By preserving the area's scrub vegetation and reusing it on terraces and 70 m² of green corridors, Green Coast has brought a new standard of living in harmony with nature.

This, together with the application of innovative technologies, such as filtering and reusing wastewater for irrigation, has enabled the development that tourism needed, while also establishing an integrated ecological structure.

The sustainable tourism model in Green Coast is also closely linked to the numerous investments in strategic points within the project, such as the seaside promenade, the La Vista lifestyle center and the first shopping center on the coast, Galeria by Teg.

These entertainment centers, where all the necessary services for a 12-month seaside lifestyle are found, are also enabling the extension of the tourist season.

With the aim of making the Green Coast habitable all year round, this project has created a tourism ecosystem that supports cooperation with the community and local businesses such as the various craft fairs that are organized every year.

In addition to the most well-known international brands that operate and are expected to operate in the Green Coast, special importance has been given to local products that present Albanian culture to foreign tourists.

Through this promotion and strengthening of local businesses, sustainable economic and social development has also been established that focuses on the community of the area.

This economic development has been significantly boosted by the employment that Green Coast continues to provide.

By the end of the project, it is expected to employ 7 individuals, not only in seasonal positions, but also in service units that operate year-round. Through permanent employment opportunities, this project has brought economic security to the local community and involved them in the preservation and promotion of this destination.

By creating a careful balance between economic development and the protection of natural resources, Green Coast has created a sustainable model, not being a destination of the present, but a vision for the future of Albania in the tourism sector.

As an innovative project, in one of the most important tourist spots for the next decade, Green Coast thus promotes not only the natural beauties of our country, but also a new approach to economic and tourist development.
