Grama Bay, located on the Karaburun Peninsula, is one of the most spectacular beaches in southern Albania, a gem that attracts thousands of local and foreign tourists every year, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Grama Bay, hidden in the Karaburun coastline, has become one of the favorite destinations for local and foreign tourists on the southern coast of Albania.

Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, shared on social media views of the bay, which can be reached by hiking or boat.

Grama Bay is located at the foot of the western slope of Mount Rrëza e Kanalit, west of the town of Orikum in the Vlora district.

The bay extends several hundred meters inland, forming a rocky coastline with nests. There are also several underwater caves.

The natural landscape is very attractive to any visitor. This bay was widely used to protect ships from storms at sea.

It was also used as a quarry in ancient times. The Grama quarry has been well known since ancient times, writes Atsh.

The sailors who moored their ships there, the workers who extracted rock blocks that were used for construction in Illyrian cities and beyond, have also carved their names on the rock faces and many other details that make the visitor curious.

Therefore, the cave located there is often referred to as the "cave of writings." Archaeologists have studied and written about these historical documents carved into the rock.

The values of this natural monument are scientific, historical, cultural and touristic. But today this beautiful sea bay is used as a small and intimate beach. It can be reached by land, but also by sea. It is used by water and cave adventurers.
