FAA certifies Boeing 737 Max 7

Tech & Science

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has certified the Boeing 737 Max 7, the smallest model in Boeing's best-selling family of aircraft, after nearly a decade of delays, CE Report quotes ANSA.

The agency said the approval "reflects years of steady work to resolve complex technical issues and to complete a thorough review of the aircraft's design and related safety analyses."

The FAA also stated that it required the Max 7 to incorporate key improvements to meet the requirements of the Aircraft Certification, Safety, and Accountability Act.
