Young Kosovar girls selected for FIFA Talent Development Scheme
The FIFA Academy within the Football Federation of Kosovo has launched an intensive programme for young football talents, focusing this time on the 2012 and 2013 age groups.
The programme includes 19 talented girls, selected from all Regional Football Associations in Kosovo. They were identified during a talent scouting process conducted across all regions of the country in June, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
The programme is being carried out as part of the FIFA Talent Development Scheme, with the aim of providing young talents with equal opportunities for development and preparing them for the highest levels of football.
Under the supervision of FIFA expert Rainer Kraft, the players will follow a structured programme and specialized training sessions designed to further develop their technical, tactical and physical abilities.
The academy, which is the first of its kind in the Balkan countries, aims to establish a strong foundation for future generations through the programme and contribute to the development of footballers who could eventually become members of Kosovo’s national teams.
