Former Kosovo President backs England against Argentina

Former Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has said she will support England in the FIFA World Cup semifinal against Argentina, explaining that Switzerland's elimination by Argentina changed her preference, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

"I will definitely be supporting England. Until recently, I was backing the United States and Switzerland, for obvious reasons, because I always support the United States. And secondly, because of Granit Xhaka in the Swiss team. We have always supported Switzerland, but unfortunately, after Switzerland's unfair elimination, we know for sure that we are not supporting Argentina. So it will probably be between France and England. Both teams play exceptional, clean football," Osmani said.

She also revealed that she has followed football since childhood and is enjoying the World Cup together with her family.

"I have followed every World Cup and European Championship since I was very young, and this time is no different. We have really enjoyed it together with my daughters and my husband. My daughters are also very interested in football, so we watch every match together. Tonight I was even checking what time I need to leave to make sure I don't miss the game. For me, it is definitely Ronaldo. As I said, I can't forgive Argentina for eliminating Granit Xhaka because Switzerland deserved to go further," Osmani concluded.
